BTTF Donor Testimonials
Karrie
"As a long-time supporter of BTTF, I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with this organization. Janice and her all-star team have built a program that has found a way to maximize the funds of their supporters, giving concrete examples of how each dollar donated goes towards saving lives. Being able to put together a giving circle and seeing how you can directly affect the treatment of a person makes you feel like you are really making a difference. But this group is not about the dollars and statistics, they offer the intangible aspects of emotional support for the patients, as well. I am thrilled to be a part of BTTF and its rapid growth."

"As a speech therapist, I encountered a woman who had her soft palate removed due to oral cancer. She is on a feeding tube as she cannot swallow any solids or liquids, and her speech intelligibility is severely impacted. She desperately needs oral surgery to regain her quality of life. Her insurance company, however, considers this surgery 'cosmetic.' She came to us with hopes that our evaluation would prove to her insurance that surgery was medically necessary.
I started thinking about other cancer patients who have been refused surgery because their insurance companies would not pay, or could not even consider getting the medical help that they desperately needed because they are uninsured and cannot afford the treatments. Donating to BTTF was a no-brainer for me. Here is an organization that never turns the uninsured down and it uses most of its funds directly for its patients. When I saw the 'return on investment' on BTTF's website - that any donation given will have the impact of 4x, 5x or 20x the amount donated - I realized how impactful contributing to BTTF was, and how so little can go so far in changing someone's life."

"I am incredibly grateful that my mother and sister-in-law survived
breast cancer. Through my donation to The Breast Treatment Task Force,
I can feel confident that other mothers, daughters and sisters will
have access to good medical treatment, and years to appreciate enduring
friendship, love and support."

"My name is Cherry Blue and I am a Neo-Soul singer based out of the Los
Angeles area. Recently, a very close family friend passed away from
breast cancer after battling the disease for three years. I, in
addition to Above Par Marketing and Chantal Salon, was inspired by her
life and death. We decided to do a benefit, to help irradicate Breast
Cancer, and to educate the public on how they can prevent and survive
this disease. We came up with the idea of a HAIR-A-THON for Breast
Cancer Awareness. Myself,Above Par Marketing and Chantal Salon have chosen to donate a large
part of the proceeds from HAIR-A-THON to Breast Treatment Task Force
because we appreciate the fact that your organization gives its
services and resources to people who may not be able to afford the
proper treatment for this dreaded disease."
